There are some of us inside who have traveled over many millenniums, to share the mysteries of life and death with you. There are others, who are still near fledglings and are learning what it is to be an immortal, struggling to affirm for themselves, just as mortals do, what gives meaning to their lives in this complex universe where we all struggle.

The beauty of it all, is that no matter what gulfs separate us from the mortal world, we Blood Drinkers all share joys and sorrows, tears and laughter, loves and hates, just as our brothers and sisters of the mortal world do. We all wish to affirm, to find some kind of inner truths for ourselves, which will make the mysteries of life and death seem less complex.
